TWO-COMPONENT SOLVENT-BASED POLYURETHANE FIRE RETARDANT CYCLE FOR WOOD

Transparent two-component polyurethane fire retardant cycle, used to reduce the reaction to fire of wood products or derivatives, to be used for the treatment of wall or ceiling beads, furniture, various furnishings, scenery, stands, etc.. Classified according to national and European directives.

Applications

Protective system for fire protection of wooden structures placed indoors and to reduce the reaction to fire of wooden products or derivatives, designed specifically for fireproof MDF veneered panels, used for furniture, various furnishings, scenery, stands, etc..

REACTION TO FIRE::

  • EUROCLASS B-s2,d0: 0.30 kg / m 2 base coat AMOTHERM WOOD 480 SB + 0.15 kg / m 2 protective top coat

AMOTHERM WOOD 480 TOP SB.

  • CLASS 1: 0,30 kg/m2 of AMOTHERM WOOD 480 SB + 0,15 kg/m2 of AMOTHERM WOOD 480 TOP SB protective topcoat.

 

​Recommended treatments

  • One coat of 0,15 kg/m2 AMOTHERM WOOD 480 SB
  • After at least one hour and before 4 hours, apply a second coat of min. 0,15 kg/m2 of AMOTHERM WOOD 480 SB without sanding (if more than 4 hours elapse, the surface will have to be sanded as per the following point)
  • After at least 12 hours, sand down with medium grain (220-240) sandpaper and apply a coat of min. 0,15 kg/m2 of AMOTHERM WOOD 480 SB TOP protective topcoat.
